Glen Eden Resort in Clark
Glen Eden Resort is a very large property. You can get lost in the forest, and getting lost in a forest is fun, so you should try it.

Our resort has 28 cabins and 4 free-standing Chalets. All the rest is reserved for nature.
There are two areas:
- Upper Glen – this is where the facilities are located like cabins, the restaurant Tavern at the Glen, and all amenities like the pool and tennis/pickleball courts
- The Lower Glen – This place is just wild!

This is where all the Cabins and Chalets are located and all amenities, including:
- Tavern at the Glen restaurant with the Trout bar and the Elk Lodge
- Pool with changing rooms
- Monster-sized hot tub
- Two tennis courts/pickleball courts
- Volleyball sand pit
- Horseshoe pits
- Playground fort
- BBQ pit with a gas grill
- The pond

In the Summer, this park can be used for gatherings, as it is close to everything. In the summer, each cabin has a picnic table and we often see large family gatherings who rent Park View Cabins pull their tables together to create the ultimate mid-summer party scene.
In the Winter, snowmobilers use the large space around to park for their rigs. Worried about parking a larger trailer – we have you!
River Access, is very limited from the Upper Glen. There is a small, very steep, attempt-at-your-own-risk trail that leads to a peaceful island on the South end of the resort near the school.

This is the most significant portion of the resort, and we have mostly left it as we got it. Nature runs free in the Lower Glen, where river access is easy. Trails wind along the river in and out of the old-growth forest.
Look for the path on the North side of the resort between Rainbow and Rabbit Ears cabins or drive out of the resort heading North and turn into the road at the old town of Clark.

Featured on the TLC show "Say Yes to the Dress", the Lower Glen is the wedding backdrop of your dreams. The small meadow near the wedding arch can fit up to 200 guests.
The party or reception can then be easily held in the very large grass meadow located between the old town of Clark and the old-growth forest. The large meadow is a great place to play, setup wedding tents, kick back, and use the large center firepit.
Resort guests can reserve the firepit if no event is scheduled in the Lower Glen and no fire ban is in place in Route County. All firepit use must be reserved at the front desk a day in advance so we can inform the local fire department not to be alarmed if they see smoke.

Descending the Lower Glen stairs, there is easy but very natural access to the Elk River. From the wedding arch trail, take the Chico trail, which winds through the old-growth forest with peek-a-boo river access to the bridge at the end of the property. Everything on our side of the river, from the bridge to the road, is owned by GER, so go get lost!
The original 1800 town of Clark is in the Lower Glen. While these old buildings are beautiful and make great photo backdrops, please do not enter.
