Magical Elk River Valley
It was terrific to return after an absence of 18 years, our last reunion near our former ranch. The cabin was clean, inviting and exactly what we needed! (But I did not like the view to the new school building next door--it's too institutional!) Otherwise--everyone was so kind and helpful, especially Derek, Toni, Kelsey (sp) and the flower lady (forget her name). We went horseback riding, kayaking on Pearl Lake, fly fishing, swimming, played tennis and volleyball--unfortunately, we didn't have enough time!! The only disappointment was the shortened hours for the Tavern! If we could, we would come again, but our family is too spread out. I love the Elk River Valley and the Steamboat area!!!

The Honey Moon is never over!
Since '92 this has been our favorite escape. It has all the amenities to keep us returning. A special new addition is Keely in the office. She helped us with all our needs.
The restaurant is a bonus with tasty choices.Karin & Jeff

Very enjoyable stay
Our 2nd visit, we enjoy the quiet nature of the resort and amenities. Kids have things to do outdoors and its a great family getaway.

Great winter stay
We had a great stay at the Fish Hook cabin. It was very clean, homey and had everything we needed. It was a good base for skiing and other fun around Steamboat. I look forward to coming back in the summer sometime

Ski Trip to Steamboat
We stayed in the Fishhook Cabin at Glen Eden, which was perfect for our family group of 4 people. The staff at the resort ensured that we had all the information we needed in advance of our arrival and the cabin was cozy through snowy days. We cooked all 5 nights in the cabin, and the kitchen was well outfitted (sharper knives would have made working in the kitchen even better). Would definitely stay there again on a future visit. It's about a half hour to Steamboat itself, but we appreciate the quiet and the surrounding views.

Steamboat Lake Fishing
We stayed at Fish Hook Cabin for 4 nights. It was convenient to travel back and forth from Steamboat Lake. Cabin was well equipped. We brought charcoal but didn't need it since there was a gas grill. The kitchen had all that you could want except for a spatula to flip our grilled burgers and a shot-glass. Ha!

Snowy stay at Glen Eden
We had an excellent time staying in Fishhook. There was still a lot of snow on the ground, but the lanes and driveways were well cleared. The cabin was well supplied, warm and cozy. We were able to take care of business we had in the area and come back to a comfortable cabin. Thanks for sharing this great place with visitors.
