Knapsack is a newly updated, cozy family getaway and the perfect home base for all seasons, offering easy access to local fishing, hunting, hiking, and snow sports. Tucked into a quiet corner for maximum peace and privacy, the cabin is ideally situated to enjoy the best of Glen Eden Resort. You will be just a short walk from all amenities, the Elk River, and the Clark general store.
Featuring both park and mountain views, the cabin comfortably sleeps four guests, with an additional sleeper sofa available in the living room. Amenities include Satellite and SmartTV, a gas fireplace, a relaxing back patio, and an in-cabin washer and dryer.
Knapsack is also dog-friendly, so please bring the family along. Kindly note that while we standardly allow only one dog, accommodations for two dogs can sometimes be approved. A pet fee applies to each dog, and we ask that no cats be brought to the property.

Wonderful place, great cabin
We chose Knapsack because it was relatively far from the road and the other cabins, and it was a good choice. Everything was clean and newly renovated. There was a very large group at the resort while we were there which was loud and disruptive to the calm weekend we had in mind, but I'd definitely return - maybe choosing a spot closer to the river for the white noise and nature view. Great bar/restaurant and nice heated pool and hot tub. Peaceful Paradise
Great location to Pearl lake and Steamboat lake and only 20 min to Steamboat! Staff are friendly and accommodating! Drinks and dining are delish in the Tavern! 2 bedroom 2 bath as described.... Cozy and loved the back deck area with green Mountain View’s and whispering Aspen leaves to lull you to sleep! Kitchen fully outfitted as well! Great Place!
This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway to ski in steamboat but still have a private location nearby to relax and enjoy our trip. We enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back! Cabins are clean, well-sized, and the kitchen was well-stocked! The surrounding area was beautiful and made for a relaxing vacation.
