Nice!
This was our 3rd stay at Glen Eden and I think this was our favorite cabin. Nice inside and I liked that it was on the end of the property (had to turn the car around, but didn't have to drive through the whole resort).

Great location and spacious
The location was great for snowmobiling. When we were there, the outside temp was cold, and it felt like the cabin didn’t warm up. They have the temp set at 60, so we turned it up but it still even felt cold on the next day. We are from ND so we are acclimated to cold temps. The fireplace was a little disappointing because there were just small logs, that didn’t really put off heat, but this maybe was for fire safety reasons. There were 3 of us staying there, so it was the perfect amount of space for us, didn’t feel crowded at all. Was just a short walk to the hot tub. We made our own breakfast each morning and one night we cooked dinner because everything was closed due to the weather. It would be an added bonus if they stocked some condiments. For example, kids were disappointed we didn’t have ketchup for the brats, but they survived. Just make sure to bring all your food supplies if you are cooking there. Easy check-in process. Overall, we would stay there again and would be better prepared by bringing extra blankets for warmth and our own condiments.

Perfect Christmas
Everything was great. Tony was the only staff we saw, she was so nice and welcoming. I was able to get the scoop from her on where the locals go to cut down a Christmas tree and even borrowed a saw from her. The cabin was clean and very cozy! We really had no issues at all. We even extended our trip and stayed an extra day.we stayed in the Pioneer cabin and we had direct access to the beautiful frozen Elk River. It was gorgeous.

A little bit of forest paradise
This is one of my most favorite places to stay in all of Colorado. So beautiful and away from it all while only a short drive from Steamboat.
